Do you know the man called Phinehas? The man who stopped death and stopped God?

Like many people, you don't know him, because Phinehas is not a celebrity or a musician even though he should be more like one.

But so who is this faceless man, *Phinehas*?

HOW POWERFUL WAS PHINEHAS?

Phinehas was a young man who lived among his father's house. Coming back from exile, they camped in place called Acacia Groove. It was there that a man called Balak devised a wicked act and sent seductive women of Moab into their Phinehas' family camp.

SO WHAT HAPPENED NEXT? 

... Numbers 25:1 says

​... and the people began to commit harlotry with the women of Moab.

The Spirit of Harlotry consumed the soul of the men.

Every man was bringing the harlot of Moab into his own camp for sexual satisfaction.

It is free sex all night and all day. Condom was free. Blue film was free. Abortion drug everywhere. So it went on. Then suddenly, God's plague broke out and men began to die.  At the last count, 24,000 of the men Phinehas' nation had died of the plague, and there is no stopping in sight.  Dead men laid everywhere, yet they would not stop their harlotry.

Then one night, as usual, a man took another Moabite woman into his camp for his sexual pleasure.

Not long after they went into his tent, both of them were dead.

Who killed them?

No, it was not the plague that killed them, it was the young man called Phinehas. 

....Numbers 25:7 - 8 says,

"Now when Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose from among the congregation and took a javelin in his hand; and he went after the man of Israel into the tent and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her body. So the plague was stopped among the children of Israel."

Yes Phinehas did the unthinkable.

Phinehas slaughtered the harlot and his own kinsman, and by so doing, he stopped the death and stopped God's plague that had killed 24,000 men in his father's house.

Man of Valour, sexual purity is a battle to stop death in your father's house.

Sexual pervasion of the fathers, has condemned the young men in some families to untimely death.

When you wake up, like Phinehas, you will realize that the only way to end the untimely death in your father's house is to kill the spirit of harlotry walking around you.

You will labour in vain and your generation will sure perish if you don't take sexual purity very seriously.

Take action now. Stop waiting, because while you are waiting, the men in your fathers house are dying of plague of harlotry.

How many more men in your fathers house will see the grave untimely before you wake up? Is it 2, 4 or 6? How many more?

You battle of sexual purity is battle for your life and that of men in your father's house.

Phinehas took a javelin and put an end to the nonsense.
